I am wondering… I know I am preachin’ to the choir when I ask this, “is anybody out there paying attention to what the spirits say.” The hot spiritual fad these days is the movie and book about the De Vinci Code. Many people these days are all caught up with the idea of discovering “fictional” spiritual mysteries pretending to be valid discoveries of ancient secrets. The problem is that the De Vinci code is a fictional work, the book is listed as fiction. I am wondering, why aren’t the masses paying attention to the real – global impacting – mysteries, secrets, and prophecies, that YHWH is currently unfolding in front of our very eyes. Is it because they have eyes but do not see? And ears but do not hear?

On July 25, 2006 there was a small story that hardly got noticed. The Associated Press reported a stunning archeological find, but generally the major media never picked up on it. I’ll quote:

“Ireland's archeologists heralded as a miracle Tuesday, July 25, 2006 the accidental discovery of an ancient book of psalms _ discovered last week when an exceptionally alert construction worker spotted something as he drove the shovel of his backhoe into a bog. The approximately 20-page book has been dated to 800 A.D. to 1000 A.D. and, according to Trinity College manuscripts expert Bernard Meehan, is the first discovery of an Irish early medieval document in two centuries. Never before has such a fragile, old document been discovered buried in the soggy earth of Ireland.”

The scholars involved with the discovery heralded it as a miracle. I’ll quote:

"This is really a miracle find," said Pat Wallace, director of the National Museum of Ireland, which has the book stored in refrigeration and facing years of painstaking analysis before being put on public display.

"There's two sets of odds that make this discovery really way out. First of all, it's unlikely that something this fragile could survive buried in a bog at all, and then for it to be unearthed and spotted before it was destroyed is incalculably more amazing."

Many will also miss YHWH’s prophecy in this discovery. Notice the book was open to Psalm 83 do you know the subtle prophecy here? YHWH has already prophesied this prophecy thousands of years ago and now HE is showing it to humanity once again just incase they missed the first time. What is also interesting is that the discovery makes news at this particular moment it time. Is it because this is an end of time prophecy that we are nearing? Or is the prophecy already upon us and we do not see it?

I have been listening to the news reports of the current mid-east hostilities and I hear many terms used to describe the current events, such as the beginning of: World War III, the Apocalypse, or the Battle of Armageddon. What do you think, are all these names for the same battle or are they just creating more confusion? Today there is a moment of truce, but the fighting will begin again, and again, and again. What is it leading up to? Regular readers know I like to get to the core of pure truth, and since calling things by their right names is the beginning of knowledge lets review for a minute.

Technically speaking, the Apocalypse and the Battle of Armageddon are different names for the same event, which is the last war unfolding just before the return of the Messiah. These two terms are not describing World War III (WWIII) that is a separate event that happens a few years earlier. The prophecies in Psalm 83 relate to WWIII, and outline the nations that will come against Israel during the first half of the seven-year reign of the Anti-Christ. The main reason they are two different wars is because WWIII does not have the Kings of the East involved in it. The Kings of the East come a few years later in the Battle of Armageddon to make war with the Anti-Christ sitting in the Temple in Jerusalem. It is at the beginning of this Battle (Armageddon), when Christ will return with His Bride and Heavenly army, or the result of the Battle, if it were to play out, would be the destruction of all humanity and the fragile surface of the earth. Yahshua told us, “…there will be wars and rumors of wars,” and the current hostilities plus the past terrorism events such as the attacks on US Embassies and military bases in the Mid-east, Airplane bombings, the World Trade Center destruction, attacks on Israel, etc., are but a series of small battles leading up to the seven-year peace treaty brokered by the Anti-Christ. About 2-3 years after the seven-year peace treaty is signed comes the final Battle of WWIII played out in the Middle East. In the Bible it is called the Sixth Trumpet Judgment. The peace treaty is broken, and a 200 million-man army will kill a third of humanity - Revelation 9:13-21. The Antichrist uses WWIII to solidify his power base. We do not know what horrific events cause the nations to agree to the Antichrist’s peace treaty. For example, it could be caused by a large natural disaster and the terrorists take advantage of it when the nations are distracted and do something really stupid. One cannot not know for sure, that’s what makes watching prophecy interesting. The Antichrist’s peace somewhat like today’s middle-east peace, it will only be a temporary lull in the fighting while the terrorists regroup and rearm. It is a tragedy that the nations that go against Israel are mere expendable pawns used by Satan, because after the final battle of WWIII only the Antichrist comes out of it a winner. After that war one man will have the religious, political, and economic control, of almost all the nations on earth - turning him into a global megalomaniac. About 2-3 years later, the Kings of the East seek to overthrow the satanic possessed Antichrist in Jerusalem.
