Holy
Day Greetings from HomeWorship 101™
- “These are the
Feasts of the Lord (YHWH),
- Holy Convocations
- which you shall
proclaim at their appointed times.”
- - Leviticus 23:4
In the above verse YHWH tells us to proclaim HIS Feasts at their
appointed times. HE shows us the appointed
times by the moon’s first sighting of light after the new moon comes
out of its dark phase; some call it the fingernail moon.
This year the 7th new moon and the start of the Holy
Day season is estimated to be visible on Sept. 9th, making
the date of the Holy Day of Trumpets Sept. 10th.
Estimated means we need to watch for confirmation then we can set
the dates for the other Holy Days of the 7th month.
Preprinted calendars are figured mathematically and sometimes can
be wrong. Consequently
the people will miss their Sacred “appointed time” with their
CREATOR. This year the printed calendar for Rosh Hashanah
(Trumpets) and Yom Kippur (Judgment day) are a day early.
Some would say, “…what’s the big deal, so I am a day early…” but the
“appointed time” is important to YHWH and that makes it important to
me. Do
we follow man’s ‘holidays,’ or YHWH’s “Holy
Convocations” at HIS “appointed times?”
Yahshua illustrates the concept in His parable of the Ten Virgins
(Mat.25:1-13).
I
began this year’s newsletters by exploring the meaning of the word
“Hebrew,” let’s
review for a moment. When
you hear the term “Hebrew” what comes to mind first, an ethic group,
a language, premium hot dogs, etc. I
am aiming for the original, or let’s say, spiritual meaning of the
word Hebrew. The original
meaning of Hebrew means to cross over.
It means to cross over from Satan’s dark teachings to YHWH’s
teachings of light; to cross over from Satan’s evil world of today, to
YHWH’s righteous world of tomorrow.
The first peoples to reject Satan and truly accept YHWH were
Noah, Abraham and so on but in time the meaning of Hebrew took on the
ethnic meaning of the first community of people, known as the ancient
Israelites, to accept YHWH. The
major point that is being missed in the true definition of Hebrew is
that in reality whether you are Caucasian, oriental, black, or mixed
race, it doesn’t matter, all become spiritual Hebrews when they accept
YHWH and begin their journey of crossing over into HIS World/Kingdom
(Gal.1:12-13; Col.1:13). Log

When
one makes the decision to accept our CREATOR-YHWH and
have faith in HIM, then one begins their walk with HIM on HIS Ancient
Path “crossing over” to HIS Kingdom.
The faithful travel on YHWH’s ancient spiritual path when we
choose to cross over into His Kingdom because that is where HE shows us
HIS power, teaches us about HIS Kingdom and HIS plans for humanity.
Here at the start of YHWH’s “Hebrew” Holy Days of the 7th
month is a good place to learn the prophecies of the “Hebrew” Path
and begin ones journey of “crossing over” to our future.
Back to the Future…
"We the
People" are seeking out our roots like never before. We
are rejecting the current political-speak and seeking the roots of our
country’s founding principles, and many people are rejecting the
current church-speak leaving their churches and seeking the roots of our
faith. Here on the first day
of the 7th month is a great lesson of returning to the roots
of our faith. On this day
when the Conquering Messiah returns what will He reform us back to?
Back to 312CE and the time of Constantine, when the Roman
Catholics ruled? No! Back
further to the time of the Apostles? It
was a time of great teachings, but there was no real religious
reformation. Then back
further to the start of the Jewish religion when they returned from
their Babylonian captivity? I
don’t think so. I believe
our futures lies in the time before Israel rejected YHWH’s rule
1Samual ch.8. Our future
will be when Yahshua returns and rules according to the Melchizedek
Order, the way His FATHER, YHWH ruled ancient Israel for the 450 years
after their liberation from Egyptian captivity, some of which is
described in the Book of Judges. The
New Covenant consisting of Torah light and Gospel heavy will finally be
the world wide spiritual lesson and His true Hebrew Bride
will be there with Him to help.
- “Now I saw heaven
opened, and behold, a white horse.
- And He who sat on
him was called Faithful and True,
- and in righteousness
He judges and makes war.
- His eyes were like a
flame of fire,
- and on His head were
many crowns.
- He had a name
written that no one knew except Himself.
- He was clothed with
a robe dipped in blood,
- and His name is
called The Word of God.
- And the armies in
heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean,
- followed Him on
white horses.”
- - Revelation 19:1-14
In the end times two prophets will appear (Rev.11:1-14), and if you heard them say, “the Messiah will
appear on the 7th new moon, at the 3rd hour,” would you know what
they are talking about? Most
know that the Messiah will make His long awaited worldwide appearance at
the end of the Tribulation
period. It will be a
horrible time for the earth and humanity, and those who know Biblical
prophecy will be counting the days (Rev.12:6).
Today we are not yet at the end of the tribulation era, but for
those who can see, we watch for the signs and learn their higher
spiritual lessons.
The Hebrew Believers, especially Christians, are admonished to
watch.
To watch for YHWH’s Heavenly signs (Luk21:36).
And watching for the sign of the 7th New Moon is a
very important spiritual sign. Some
believe that this is the day the Messiah will return for His Bride,
but I believe they are mistaken. The
snatching away of the Bride is a surprise, and as we know, no one but
the FATHER knows when the Bridegroom will return for His Bride
(Mat.24:36; 1Ths.4:13-18). Because
of the suffering humankind must endure during the Tribulation era, YHWH
give us solid hints as to when the Conquering Messiah will return, and
HIS Two Prophets will be relaying the same message (Rev.12:6).
The Bride should be aware of this because she will be returning
with Him (Rev.2:26-27, 3:21).

He who has an ear, let him hear…
Estimated for Thursday night, the 7th new moon will rise (evening of Sept.9), and it will begin the early-fall
season of the Biblical Holy Days (Lev.23:23-36).
The day is announced with the shrill sound of the shofar or
trumpet. The last Biblical
Holy Day was in June, and since then it has been a long growing season
of day-to-day routines. Now
the blasts of the shofar are humanities spiritual wake-up call. (I
have attached the .wav file which is the
traditional shofar tune played on this day, join us as we step backwards
to the ancient times and play a tune that is still a sweet sound
to YHWH – and will be in the future.)
- All glory goes to our CREATOR.

The new moon is rich in our CREATOR’S spiritual symbolism. The new moon day, the 1st
day of the month, is mentioned 80 times in the Bible.
The 14th and 15th days are mentioned 19 and
13 times, and the 21st day is also important.
In the Bible YHWH visited with HIS Prophets on these days.
Unfortunately most of the faithful haven’t got a clue.
I often wonder: Is the laity who does not want to learn, or the
priests who do not want to teach? As
the faithful know, YHWH establishes, and HIS Messiah fulfills.
When Yahshua/Jesus returns He will fulfill these Holy Days, then
all the world will worship YHWH on HIS true Holy Days (Isa.66:23;
Ezk.46:6-11) – not just the Jews.

We do not observe the Holy Day season as a requirement of salvation. First and foremost, we
observe them because Yahshua and the Apostles did.
We observe them, for those who can see, because they teach
humanity about our CREATOR’S Kingdom.
In the spring season Holy Days newsletter
I covered some of multi-faceted meanings of YHWH’s annual Holy Days,
and they also had prophetic meaning until fulfilled in the life of
Yahshua, now the fall Feasts are loaded with prophetic spiritual
symbolism which we await for their fulfillment.
This next series of Holy Days celebrate prophecy as they are
loaded with dual prophetic meaning beginning with the conquering Messiah
and leading to our final reward. They
draw our attention to the soon to fulfilled prophecies of the conquering
Messiah and His promised future Millennium Kingdom (Rev.20:1-6).
And when the Millennium rule is finished the prophecies show us
YHWH’s final Judgment Day and our final reward as we enter our
promised eternal life in New Jerusalem (Rev.20:11-15; ch 21-22).

Prophecy is YHWH’s way of telling you HE is in charge.
Think
about it, YHWH, our CREATOR, established the spring Holy Days of
Passover, the days of Unleavened Bread, the Day of Firsfruits, and
Pentecost – and HIS Messiah, Yahshua, fulfilled all the prophecies
exactly to YHWH’S new moon calendar.
What makes you think He (Yahshua) will not fulfill the fall
season of Holy Days when YHWH deems it so?
The Messiah, sent by our FATHER, has two missions: The rejected-suffering
Messiah to cancel the debt of sin; and the conquering
/ ruling Messiah to cancel the evil chaos that rules this world
(Isa.53:3-6, 9:6-7). It is
an interesting coincidence that Yahshua, exactly fulfilled the mission
of the suffering Messiah in the early-spring
season of Biblical Holy Days (Lev.23:4-22).
He was crucified on Passover, buried on the Days of Unleavened
Bread, and rose on the Day of Firstfruits.
On the Day of Pentecost, He fulfilled another Covenant
promise by giving us the Holy Spirit (Act.ch.2).
It has been a long summer and long intermission in YHWH’s
Spiritual Opera
since the last Hoy Day of Pentecost.
The spiritual parable to this is long growing season is compared
to the long growing season of the Age of Grace - the time between the
appearances of the redeeming and conquering Messiahs.
In this age the true Hebrew Believers are unique because we
believe without seeing (John 20:29), thus making this time period very important because YHWH needs
as many believers as possible. It’s
a big universe out there, and YHWH has plans for our future.
The world is already into the third act of a spiritual opera that, in my humble opinion, is headed toward its inevitable
conclusion.

early-fall season of Holy Days begins with,
- “…The
day of the LORD…”
- Joel 1:15
The 1st day of the 7th month,
(Sept.10th, estimated) called the Day
of Trumpets (Hebrew: Yom Teru’ah – Day of Shouting), blow the
shofar or the trumpet! It is
the time to celebrate the prophecies of the future Kingdom, and it is
humanities spiritual wake up call to the unfolding spiritual events!
- Today some say, "The messiah never
came, but will someday appear!"
- Some others say, "The Messiah came,
and will come again!"
- .
- It seems the one thing that all Believers
in our CREATOR can agree on is:
- THAT THE MESSIAH IS COMING!!!
On the 1st day of the 7th new moon, sometime in the future, almost tomorrow, YHWH’S
Conquering Messiah arrives to usher in a Kingdom of Peace
(Mat.24:29-31; Luk.21:25-28; Rev.1:7).
And on this day, sometime in the future, after the thousand years
are finished, the shofar’s blast will announce the imminent Judgment
of YHWH. YHWH will return to
Earth, stop the warring factions in the last great battle between good
and evil (Rev.20:7-9), and begin the preparations for the final Great
White Throne Judgment.
On the 10th day of the 7th month,
(Sept.19, estimated), is the Day of Atonement (Hebrew: Yom Kippur).
It is Divine Judgment Day. Sometime
in the future, almost tomorrow, it will be the day when the Messiah will
judge the nations (Mat.25:32). We
all know, the haters, the destroyers, and warmongers will not do well.
And sometime in the future, after the Millennium rule of the
Messiah, on this day, YHWH will judge a-l-l humanity and the angels
(Rev.20:11-15; 2Pet.2:4).
On the 15th day of the 7th month
(Sept. 24, estimated), is the Festival of Tabernacles (Hebrew: Hag Ha-Sukkot
– Feast of Booths). HalleluYAH!
Rejoice! Dance!
And be happy!!! We
have survived Judgment Day! This
is a 7-day festival celebrating that we are under YHWH and HIS
Messiah’s protection.
The Tabernacles protection is temporary while permanent arrangements are made.
After the 7-day festival, the eight-day, is the last Holy Day
called the Last Great Day (Hebrew: Shemini Atzeret – 8th
Day of Assembly, Oct.1, estimated).
The Holy Day symbolizes the time when humanity will enter their
new world of the Messiah’s Millennium Kingdom.
And sometime in the future, after the thousand years were
finished, on this day, YHWH will establish HIS everlasting Kingdom on
Earth as humanity finally enters New Jerusalem (Rev.21:1).
Please understand, these are NOT Jewish holidays. These are universal
Biblical – YHWH’S – Hebrew Holy Days, teaching universal spiritual
lessons. The Ancient
Israelites were almost always at war with their neighbors and they
developed a kind of circle the wagons mentality.
As a result they took these Holy Days hostage – so to speak,
and covered them with Jewish tradition, which covered their original
meaning. Then what happens
is that ritual of the tradition becomes more important then the
spiritual lessons our CREATOR was trying to teach the world.
This was the root cause of many of the Gospel controversies
(Mar.7:8).
- Many still refuse to allow Bible facts
- to get in the way of their traditions.
For example, the
first day of this season is called the Day of Trumpets, Yom Teru’ah,
or the Day of the LORD, Joel 1:15, 3:14.
Jewish religion calls it Rosh Ha Shanah, which means the head of
the New Year. The trouble
is, the Torah/Biblical New Year starts in the spring (Exo.12.2), not in
the fall on the 7th month.
In the time of ancient Israel, many of their pagan neighbors had
their new year’s celebrations in the fall, so the ancient Israelites
played the get-along game and called this Holy Day of the 7th
month, their New Years Day, “a day of new beginnings,” and the
tradition continues today. This
is ancient political correctness because
this dark-ruled world does not like any talk of the coming Messiah so
the original meaning of the Day of Elohim has
been hidden and mostly forgotten. It
is “a day of new beginning,” when the Messiah arrives, but
unfortunately you will not hear the Jews even whisper behind closed
doors, anything of a coming Messiah on this day.
After Christ as the Christian church grew, the controversies of
separating Jewish tradition from GOD’s commands continued
(Act.15:1-36). The result
was that as the Christian church drifted west it developed its own
holidays and traditions. In Christianity, as it so is in Judaism, there are many
inconsistencies between what the Bible teaches, and what is actually
taught and practiced – Satan has been busy (Gal.1:8; Col.2:18;
2Cor.11:14).

FYI: Even the
Muslims are awaiting their messiah, but I do not think
they are taking about the Messiah of the Bible; their allegiance will
probably be with the false messiah preceding the Biblical Messiah.
I’ll quote: “Iran's
Ayatollah Khamenei also spoke through his spokesman Ali Saeedi "We
have to train honest forces that can stop the obstacles that may hinder
the coming of the Mahdi like the United States and Israel."
He also emphasized that the Iranian revolutionary guard possessed
a special religious authority to prepare the way for the Mahdi.”

There are higher spiritual mysteries but there are no secrets. YHWH’s annual Holy Days are ancient spiritual keys
to a timeless treasure trove of our
CREATOR'S Wisdom. YAHWEH is
trying to help us, and in HIS infinite wisdom HE designed the Holy Days
to have many in-depth and multilevel meanings, all with perfect symmetry
leading to one place - HIS Kingdom.
They have historical lessons - which we should honor by their
remembrance. They teach
current day character building lessons - which we should learn.
They teach us health lessons for the mind and body to improve our
daily lives. They are a
“shadow of things to come” as they picture a prophetic, Messianic
message of hope. They are
future prophecies of human catastrophes with many on a planetary scale
(Col.2:16-17) - which we all should watch for.
Mostly, faith
has evolved into spectator event, where the clergy perform and the
laymen observe, Sunday service is nothing but a religious production, and the
church buildings with their bigger is better design have more of a
country club mentality then mirroring the early church.
Jew or Christian, the similarities run the same, the faithful
have forgotten that YHWH’s Holy Days in Leviticus ch.23 are not just
religious obligations; they are a treasure trove of our CREATOR'S
Wisdom. Through the
spiritual opera of the Holy Days HE is trying to help us understand HIS
plan for humanity and HE wants us to actively participate.
YHWH’s Holy
Convocations are hands on!
They are designed to encourage the individual Believer to
actively participate and in-turn gives us a place in HIS Universe.
It is a time to put the daily drone of our material pursuits
aside, and take a day to honor, learn, and pay respect unto our CREATOR.
We show love and respect for our Heavenly FATHER, through
study, thanksgiving, songs of praise and dance, and joyous feasting with
friends and family. This in
turn will strengthen your mind, body and spirit.
The Believers
are commanded to grow in knowledge and grace
(2Pet.3:18), to be a living sacrifice . . ., transformed by the renewing
of your mind . . . (Rom.12:1-2). The
Holy Days are a personal, spirit-training series of Heavenly lessons,
with subtle instructions that picture a greater spiritual truth.
They repeat every year, lest we forget, to teach
understanding, to all - men, women and children - that our CREATOR is still in control of the Heavenly Powers of the Universe and HIS promises will
be fulfilled.
YAHWEH’S Holy Days address the mind, body, and spirit, by disposing of your demons through reflection and
afflicting your soul, to have a change of heart and repent.
They connect us to a Heavenly timetable - signs to watch -
and they give us hope for the future, and a place in YHWH’s
universe. They put us
spiritually in control and encourage us to: live-learn-and grow -
HONORABLY!
Just as any
skilled professional is required to take additional training
or annual refresher courses, these Holy Days are the annual spiritual
refresher courses designed by our CREATOR, for all of HIS Believers to practice their spiritual training and maintain a high
level of performance - lest we forget and lose our way.
YHWH is not a
burden but a blessing, and the concern is not for mandatory ritualism, but understanding the truth for which it stands, and this
understanding greatly enhances our faith.
For the faithful, the Holy Days are a joyous time because they
symbolize YHWH’s promises being fulfilled.
All the Holy Days together picture YAHWEH’S grand majestic design of the unfolding spiritual events, affecting
all humanity - that is why it is meaningful to pass on HIS teachings to
others (Heb.9:10; Rom.7:6). The
early Christians were Believers, and therefore already saved.
The observance is not done for salvation - but of love and
respect for our CREATOR and we celebrate HIS Covenant with us (1Jno.5:3). For

~ Be a New Moon Spotter ~
The first order of observing the Holy Days is to know when.
The
sighting of the 7th new moon is important because all the
other Holy Days are based on it. The
Holy Day dates I quote come from reliable eyewitnesses to the first
visible new moon in Jerusalem (the printed calendars are figured
mathematically and may be off by a day or two too).
Missing the exact dates is troublesome because it will cause you
to miss your spiritual ‘appointed time’ with YHWH.

It
takes about 2-4% “waxing” moon to be seen by the faithful from the
ground, and that determines the first day of YHWH’s lunar month.
~ In closing… ~
YHWH promised that HE will send a Messiah to save humanity from the curse of sin was one of the first
promises HE made to Adam and Eve. YHWH
restated again to Noah, then to Moses, and to King David, it is a
Covenant promise that YHWH has reminded us of many times in Scriptures. Make-no-mistake, Yahshua of Nazareth was the only man to fulfill to
the letter over 200 Scriptural prophecies, many were predicted some
1,000 years in advance of His life.
Every single prophecy of the suffering messiah was precisely
fulfilled by the life of Yahshua, in a literal, common sense way,
culminating in YHWH’s spring season of Holy Days.
Still awaiting fulfillment are over 300 New
Testament prophecies of Yahshua's second coming as the
Conquering/Redeeming Messiah ready to be played out in the fall season
of Holy Days. YHWH
already clearly demonstrated that HE keeps HIS Covenant promises, the
only question remains, will you?
