What’s the point in arguing over something that has already been decided?

On the Hebrew calendar Israel’s Independence Day, called in Hebrew “Yom Ha’Atzmaut,” is the 5th day of Iyar 5708, usually around mid April to early May. In the western world Israel’s Divine anniversary is May 14. Most of the world goes by and acknowledges the Gregorian calendar and the problem with calling and observing the anniversary date by the Hebrew calendar is that it becomes an anniversary for Jews only and doesn't get much worldwide publicity. Sadly, even the May 14 date for this Divine anniversary gets little attention. It is an inconvenient anniversary because it points to YHWH’s Divine Hand in the world. Maybe they should have two anniversaries. One for the purists, and one for the rest of the world, because it is the rest of the world that should - and needs to - get used to hearing it and maybe joining in the festivities.

Unfortunately, there are some who would kill themselves before they would join in any Jewish festivities. Through out time the Hebrews, and today’s Jews, have been mostly hated and persecuted (America is the exception where they generally lived peaceful). Some would slander them saying they are inferior, rebellious, unstable, and unintelligent. Some people called them sinister, evil, and dark, and labeling them servants of the Devil, bringing ill-fortune and evil spirits. They were always encouraged to convert, and sometimes in history they faced forced conversions or death. Even today in our so-called modern age, it is still debated in many circles if they are a curse, blessing, or anomaly. Throughout time the Jews suffered, and it is a real curiosity that over the centuries, inspite of the bias against them, they still remained distinctly Jewish. I was the first generation born in this country of parents from northern Germany, I know by my younger nephews that after a couple of generations in this country my family line would forget their German ways (probably the only thing they would know of Germen is Octoberfest); but not with the Jews, they have kept their unique national heritage through the centuries. For those not blinded by hatred, YHWH is clearly show HIS presence in the international affairs of humanity.

For the last 2,000+ years the Jews were denied their original homeland and the world generally ignored Jerusalem and ancient Israel. But on May 14, 1948, in an event that shocked world happened, it was the great miracle of the rebirth of Israel. Not everyone was pleased. The next day the Arabs forces invaded the fledgling state, and as we all know, in spite of overwhelming odds, the Israelites won the war. Based on the prophecy in Ezekiel 4:3-6, and coupled with Lev.26:18, some Bible scholars, who excel in math, have made the time calculations of Israel’s Divine punishment of their Diaspora, 360 lunar years x 7 = 2,483.8 years. The results are stunning. The prophecy begins at the end of Ancient Israel’s Babylonian captivity in the year 536 BCE. Add to that date the 2,483.8 years, and the total comes out to May 14, 1948, the end of Israel’s third captivity, and the beginning of her new statehood. It is one of the greatest fulfillments of prophecy in our modern age, clearly showing YHWH’s Divine authority.

The Hebrews returning to the land didn’t happen because they suddenly all repented, reformed, and became perfect GOD-fearing people. They returned because YHWH deemed it so. That is why it’s a fool’s folly to fight against Israel. For those who can see, YHWH’s spiritual lesson of the dispersed Hebrews is concluded. Beginning with the Judean – Jewish – people, Israel is returning, and they will never leave their lands again. They have YHWH’s promise on it (Jer.31:36-37), and there is no logic in arguing over it. For those who have a problem with it, GET OVER IT! YHWH Divinely protected the Jewish people during these past centuries of their Diaspora, and HE will protect them now that they are in their land again (Amo.9:14-15). YHWH has decided it, HE has prophesied it, so what’s the point of arguing about it?! And quite frankly, arguing over something that YHWH has decided is a sucker’s bet!

Imagine,
being the personal friend of YAHWEH.

Some people wonder how did this all start? The short answer is that sadly the Jewish people are just victims of genetic circumstance. YHWH has proclaimed that HE will chose a group of people (from the genetic linage of Adam, Noah, Shem, know as the Shemites), though which HE will fulfill HIS Covenants with a-l-l humanity. Satan wants to prevent that, so he tries to destroy the people YHWH chose, which would prevent YHWH’s Covenant from being fulfilled – it’s nothing personal, just business. The group of people that YHWH chose was collectively know as the Hebrew people, the Israelites, or today the remnant of the Hebrew people is called the Jewish people.

The Hebrew nation began long along with one man and one woman who were coincidently gentiles, and they were personals friends of YHWH. The man was called Abraham, he was a Shemite, pure in his genetic heritage, and his wife was called Sarai. Abraham was a sinner, a bit of a rogue and con man, but he got points for original thinking. He had the chutzpah to bargain with GOD, and his life is recorded in Genesis ch.11-25. He also was a man of great faith and he lived life by two great commandments, he loved and honored YAHWEH, and he showed love and compassion for his neighbors – even if he didn’t like them very much. “He was called a friend of GOD” (Jas.2:23).

Hebrews ch.11 gives the definition of faith, and Abraham gets a big write up, verse 8-19. He proved his faith when He left his homeland for a new land based only on YAHWEH’S command. He confirmed his faith by “offering up” his full blood son Isaac. Abraham also showed compassion to, and even helped, those neighbors whom he did not like very much. When Abraham’s nephew Lot was taken captive by an invading army, Abraham went straight to his aid. With 318 properly trained servants and faith in YAHWEH, Abraham accomplished what five kings and their armies could not do. He rescued his family and many Sodomites in the process (Gen.14:1-16). Abraham was becoming rich and famous, and after successfully driving off the invading armies he gained the reputation as a military hero. As he returned victorious from battle, the local king of Sodom went out to meet him in an effort to strike an alliance with him.

You go your way, I’ll go YAHWEH.

The king of Sodom subscribed to the dark Babylonian order, Abraham was a wise spiritual discerner and was able to recognize the false blessings offered by the king. He very decidedly denied any relationship to be developed. This was a turning point in the battle between good and evil, Abraham refused the wealth and prestige offered by Satan’s disciple and turned to another mysterious king and tithed some of his riches to that order.

That person was King-Priest Melchizedek, the King of Salem and “the Priest of the most high GOD.” He received Abraham, and presented him with two items prophetically pointing to the salvation of the Messiah, bread and wine. Then Melchizedek blessed both GOD and Abraham (Gen.14:18).

Abraham - a gentile - was the first person to do the Holy Land tour, and YAHWEH was his personal tour-guide (Gen.13:14-17). In Abraham’s life we see the first examples of the Rites of the Jerusalem Church: Bread and wine, GODLY hospitality, Angels helping the faithful, the laying on of hands, bestowing blessings, anointing, and the theocratic Covenants.

“God will bless those who bless Israel
and curse those who don't.” Genesis 12:3

The Bible tells us that we should bless Israel because of the spiritual warfare they had to endure over the centuries in order to fulfill YHWH’s Covenants, which will bring salvation to a-l-l humanity. Unfortunately, the roots of today’s religious friction between the three major religions, the Jews, the Muslims, and the Christians, go back to this point in time of Abraham and his sons. In simple terms, the problem is that the world’s three major religions respect Abraham as the father of their faith, but all three are jealously vying to be the favorite son – I’ll explain.

Abraham had two sons, because his wife Sarai could not conceive, Ishmael was his first-born son by his wife’s maidservant Hagar who was of Egyptian blood. About five years later YAHWEH promised Abraham that Sarai would bear him a son called Isaac. The name Sarai means my princess (or princess of a specific nation), now YAHWEH changed her name to Sarah, which means princess of the entire world or the universal princess (Gen.17:15). YAHWEH promised Abraham that HE would make both children into great strong nations, but HE noted in Genesis 17:21 that HE choose to continue the “Covenant” made with Abraham to be passed on to Isaac and on through his descendants which became the Hebrew people beginning with Isaac’s son Jacob and his sons which branched out into the twelve tribes making up the nation of Israel.

The Arabians trace their roots to Ishmael. Even though a special blessing was given to Ishmael and his descendents (Gen.17:20), YHWH’s fulfillment of the Covenant and the promise of the land passing to Isaac (Gen.15:18), became the great point of spiritual contention still alive today in Middle-Eastern politics. Since the beginning, there has never been peace in the family, Ishmael’s resentment toward Isaac remained and was passed on through the generations, and during the last 4,000 years, this grew into the mother of all family disputes. Today it is still raging on the “Jihad” (meaning holy war), by the Muslim Arabs who want to exterminate the Hebrew Judeans, and extermination begins by trying to drive the Jews off their land.

World Anti-Semitism

As I mentioned not everyone appreciated the rebirth of Israel, and warfare, both armed and political, against them began almost immediately. Sadly to this day, little has changed. Many groups, in the west and Middle East, still accuse Israel (Zionism) for all the ills of the world, and anti-Semitism is boldly rising again. Basically in one form or another it is still the same attitude as it was since the days of Noah. The descendents of Noah’s son Shem were hated because they would not join the rest of the world in their effort to build the Satanic Tower of Babel. It was clearly obvious during the recent conflict in Iraq, which is also home to Babylon. Israel, England and America were the main opposing force against Iraq’s dark dictator, while much of the world defended him. It is also interesting to note that those opposing countries are already listed in the Bible as the countries which will join together in a war against Israel during the Tribulation era (Ezk.38:1-6). The Christian Protestants who founded this country respected the Jews as are our older brothers in the faith. Sadly, today many Protestant dominations have lost their way and do not live up to the New Covenant as they should. Instead of supporting our older Biblical brothers and sisters, in their politically-correct stupidity, groups such as the United Methodist Church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Episcopal Church, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), along with the National Council of Churches, and World Council of Churches, routinely criticize Israel, and some even accuse Israel as being the cause of all the terrorism in the world today [sic].

Here is an odd thought to ponder: Today’s term “anti-Semitic” has ancient roots going back to Noah’s son Shem and his descendants. They were hated because they would not go along with the majority of the population who where building the tower of Babel. The Shemites made up the white race, and the term anti-Semitic actually means anti-White. Language can be maddening!

“…I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples;
all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces,
though all nations of the Earth are gathered against it.” Zechariah 12:3

In the spiritual war between good and evil Jerusalem is ground zero. Why? Because that is the one-piece of real estate on the whole planet that YHWH chose for HIS own. We know this because we have learned it from Melchizedek in Abraham’s time. In the Bible, the beginning of understanding is, as always, with the name first. The Hebrew word “Malki-Tzedek,” is two separate Hebrew words which mean king, and right or just; the two words together mean king of righteousness (Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary #4428, 6664, 4442). The Bible says Melchizedek was also king of Salem. The word Salem in Hebrew means peaceful. He was directly appointed by YAHWEH to be the High Priest of Righteousness and King of Salem. The King of Salem, most Biblical scholars today believe it means he was king of the area we know today as Jerusalem (Ps.76:1-2). Jerusalem means “founded in peace,” Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary #3389. Melchizedek was the Priest of the most high GOD - YHWH. He was the first righteous, and messianic “like” figure recorded to occupy the area known today as Jerusalem. We know he was an unusual man with many titles. Among those titles he carried was the rare title of King-Priest, curiously this title of King-Priest will be used in the future by the prophesied Messiah (Ps.ch.110).

Jerusalem is important to YHWH because it is the earthly stage from which YHWH will fulfill HIS Covenant with a-l-l humanity, and a-l-l humanity should be watching it. Remember, Satan wants to counterfeit YAHWEH’S universal rule. Here on earth, He wants to impersonate YHWH and make Jerusalem his own - this is where the future anti-Christ comes in to play. If Satan can’t have Jerusalem then his default plan is a scorched earth policy. In other words if he can’t have Jerusalem and Israel, then he wants to destroy it - this is where WWIII comes into play. Sometime in the future the world’s armies will be gathered against Jerusalem. That is when the Messiah will return from His FATHER’S House along with His Bride to Jerusalem to fullfil YHWH’s promise to humanity. If YHWH would not send HIS Messiah to intervene then the armies would destroy Jerusalem and the rest of the world along with it. See my prophecy pages for the full story:

The Bible prophecy tells us that before the Messiahs return, the Jews will be in control of Jerusalem. Currently, they are, and the Muslims hate it. Prophecy says, once the Jews return to the land they will not be removed anymore. Regardless, the Arabs have tried on many occasions to start a war and drive out the Jews, and YHWH has always miraculously protected the Jews against the much larger forces of the Arabs. Now the Jews themselves are toying with the idea to give up some of Jerusalem in an effort to make peace with the Arabs – this is a very bad idea. All I can say is that YHWH has already decided what is to be done and it will not go good for those who go against HIM (Mat.25:31-34). See the attached article.

Be warned: Do not argue with YHWH over something that HE has already decided. I had a couple of unsubscribers when I wrote this in my Covenant Theology newsletter, but as Christian ministers, teachers, and believers of the New Covenant, then Christian Zionism and general support for Israel is also part of the message.
